Maps and a General Description of Our Location

The Kalamazoo House is located at 447 West South Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49007. We are on the south side of the street (facing north) and are situated right next to the upscale Marlborough Building.   ( View a map from Mapquest, or download a map to print )

Coming From the South (northbound US 131)

As you travel north on US 131 and approach the Kalamazoo area, look for signs for an exit onto I-94, which is an interstate highway that runs east and west. You want to get off US 131 and go east on I-94 until you get to an exit that is marked as "Westnedge Avenue North." Take this exit and proceed north on Westnedge Avenue for about 5 miles until you get to the Kalamazoo downtown area, at which point you will want to be on the lookout for a street named Academy. Take a left on Academy and then take another left on Westnedge. Once on Westnedge take the first left on South Street and proceed very slowly, because we will be two buildings down on your right side!

Coming From the North (southbound US 131)

Travelling south on US 131, as you get near to Kalamazoo you will want to keep an eye open for an exit ramp that goes east (left) and says "Downtown Kalamazoo." Take this exit ramp which will take you on an eastward highway for 2 miles or so. Eventually this highway will turn right and become Westnedge Avenue, travelling south into Kalamazoo. As you travel south on Westnedge Avenue keep an eye open for South Street, and when you find South Street, take a left. Two houses down on the right you will find us.

Coming From the West (eastward I-94)

As you travel east heading towards Kalamazoo, watch for a sign that says "Westnedge Avenue North." Take this exit and travel north on Westnedge Avenue for 5 miles or so until you get to downtown Kalamazoo. Once in the downtown, look for a street called South Street, take a right (east) onto South Street, and we will be the second building on the right.

Coming From the East (westward I-94)

If you're travelling from the east heading west toward Kalamazoo on I-94, once you get near the Kalamazoo area, look for an exit on your right side that says, "Westnedge Avenue North." Take this exit and continue north on Westnedge for approximately 5 miles (along the way Westnedge becomes Park St.) until you get to downtown Kalamazoo. Once in downtown Kalamazoo, look for a street named street named Academy. Take a left on Academy and then take another left on Westnedge. Once on Westnedge take the first left on South Street and we will be the second building on your right.
