Remember Mom on May 11
Mothers Day is right around the corner, and we have lots of ways you can give the gift of the Kalamazoo House to your Mom (or to someone you love just as much!)
We can arrange for a gift certificate in any amount you like, so that Mom (or the mother of your children?) can plan ahead for a perfect visit.
Or maybe you'd like to give Mom just the right gift to remind her of her stay here? We can send you those special "like whipped cream" sheets , or one of our luscious Kalamazoo House microfiber/terry robes embroidered with our logo.
Check our Gifts page to order, or give us a call.
Bring your bike for the trails
Our location just blocks from the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail makes us the perfect location if you like to ride while you're on vacation. Head one direction on the trail for about 6 miles, and you're at the Kalamazoo Valley Nature Center where you can hike 10 miles of beautiful trails. Or go the other way for 4 miles and hook up with the 33-mile Kal-Haven Trail and you'll be in South Haven just blocks from the Lake Michigan shore. Do you know we offer indoor storage for your bike? Or if you'd rather leave your bike at home we can arrange bike rental for you.
Craft Beer Walking Tours
We're thrilled to announce we have just partnered with West Michigan Beer Tours for Saturday walking tours featuring the best of Kalamazoo's beer culture. Every Saturday starting June 7, and continuing all summer long, West Michigan Beer Tours will be conducting downtown Kalamazoo walking tours featuring breweries (and beer!), the art of craft beer tasting, Kalamazoo history, and loads of fun.
These group tours are going to be great. But even better -- maybe you have your own group who all want to stay here and have your own personalized tour? We're not limited to Saturdays. Let us know when your group can come and we'll help arrange a customized tour just for you.
Kalamazoo's Summer festival season starts soon!
Start planning now.
It seems like there's a festival nearly every weekend at the Arcadia Creek Festival site right here in downtown Kalamazoo. Plan early so you'll be able to get a room during your favorite festival. Why not check the summer festival schedule and decide when you can come? It all kicks off with June Jubilee, the first weekend of June: Greek Fest, the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Art Fair, Art Hop, Art on the Mall, and the DooDah parade all rolled into one amazing weekend. And then more festivals all summer long.
