Blues Fest 2018 (July 12-14th)

Twenty-five years ago this season, the first Kalamazoo Blues Festival was held on an asphalt lot in the same location where Arcadia Creek Festival Place sits today. There were a couple of tents, a stage, and the most incredible local and regional blues acts.  Since then, the festival has grown to include national acts, yet continues the tradition of featuring local and regional acts.  The Kalamazoo Blues Festival has become a well-known event in the Kalamazoo region.
“The Kalamazoo Valley Blues Association (KVBA) is excited about a return to the Arcadia Creek Festival Place in Kalamazoo, for its 25th Anniversary Blues Festival!  The 2018 event is dedicated to our members and fans who have supported this incredible event over the years. We do it for the enthusiasm of the crowd of all ages, including blues aficionados and folks that just love live music on a warm sunny day in July. The Blues Fest brings our community together, and has grown into an annual destination for visitors. We want this year’s 25th annual Kalamazoo Blues Fest to be the best yet!”  Says Mike Depoian, President, KVBA.
