Barn Theatre

In 1946 Jack Ragotzy and Betty Ebert Ragotzy founded the Barn Theatre with only $875 to their names. Since then, Michigan's oldest Equity summer stock theater has staged almost 500 performances over 68 16-week seasons in the giant, once-abandoned dairy barn their company calls home.  Located in Augusta, the Barn Theatre is less than a thirty-minute drive (along beautiful, winding Michigan backroads) from the Kalamazoo House B&B. The 2014 summer season includes:

Kalamazoo Civic Theatre

Founded in 1929, the Civic Theatre is one of the oldest and one of the most well-respected community theatres in the country.  Just 1/2 block from the Kalamazoo House B&B, Kalamazoo's Civic Theatre presents a full schedule of quality dramas, comedies and musicals.  Here's a look at the upcoming 86th season:

Farmers Alley Theatre

New Vic Theatre
